VBC Regulation Guidebook

Official Rules & Regulations

Review the technical hardware specifications, fair-play guidelines, in-game foul rules, and streaming license policies.

1. Equipment & Hardware

All fighters must compete using approved virtual reality configurations to ensure physics and tracking consistency:

  • Approved VR Headsets: Meta Quest 3, Meta Quest Pro, Meta Quest 2, Valve Index, and HTC Vive series.
  • Internet Latency: Stable connection with a maximum ping of 80ms to the regional host. Wired link or high-frequency Wi-Fi 6E is strongly recommended.
  • Play Space: Minimum boundaries of 2m x 2m clear room-scale tracking space. Guard boundaries must remain active.

2. Combat Mechanics & Fouls

Official matches adhere to the standard parameters of The Thrill of the Fight 2 multiplayer simulation:

  • Anti-Spam Combo Filter: Unrealistic, non-physics-based rapid hand movement will be automatically filtered out by the game's glove-guard collision mechanics. Punches must register real force and extension to score.
  • Referee Foul Voice Line Warnings: In-game referee warnings (e.g. for collision exploits, excessive clinching, or low blows) must be obeyed immediately. Accumulating 3 referee foul warning voice lines within a single round results in an automatic point deduction.
  • Scoring & Knockdowns: Standard 10-point must scoring system. 3 knockdowns in a single round results in a Technical Knockout (TKO).

3. Rating & Match Verification

To preserve ranking integrity, all competitive records are audited:

  • Screenshot Submissions: Fighters must upload a screenshot showing their current profile rating from inside the Meta Quest system.
  • Match Proof: Both fighters must submit match results and statistics (damage totals, round wins, KOs) for tournament points to be awarded.

4. Spectator & Streaming Rules

Critical Policy: Verified spectator status or special Thrill of the Fight streaming license required to stream official tournament matches.
  • Broadcasters: Streamers must coordinate with the league admins to secure spectroscopic spectator slots prior to the match.
  • POV Streams: Fighters are encouraged to stream their own point-of-view matches directly, provided they display standard latency indicators.
